Tender Hearted Daughter of God

Have you ever noticed that when you’re obedient to God, you have joy? By applying to your life what He says in His word, you have peace, you have direction? Yes!

There’s something about the guidance of the Holy Spirit… urging you to read the word of God… urging you to study the word… urging you to apply it to your life. It’s sweet! It’s precious! It’s so special!

Then why do we allow ourselves to fill up our days with busyness? I can so easily be too busy each and every day to get into the word. I work from home these days. And then there’s housework to be done. And I have certain television shows I like to watch. And I’m always reading at least one book, if not more. And…. You know how it goes.

So how do we make time for God? How do we please our Lord and Savior?

My go-to is to pray. I seek the Lord through prayer because I need His strength and power to direct me and help me desire His will. I ask Him to help me take time for Him, to be in His word, to focus. He’s ready and willing! Try it for yourself!
